Starting her career at iconic strategic and creative London agencies including Collett Dickenson Pearce and Partners and Howell Henry Chaldecott Lury, (named agency of the decade during this time,) Lesley Bielby headed to the USA in 1999, where she brought the relatively new discipline of Account Planning to McKinney & Silver in Raleigh, NC. There she led the start of a dramatic brand repositioning of Audi.

 

Lesley headed to New York, where she led the Planning group at Merkely & Partners, leading the brand repositioning of . She’s held Chief Strategy Officer roles at Hill Holliday, MMB, DiMassimo Goldstein before joining Digitas as North American Head of Strategic Planning and overseeing a department consisting of 70 planners and UX strategists.

 

Her client experience includes Rockport, Smith Barney, Cleveland Clinic, Chili’s, Toys R Us, The American Red Cross, Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, Oxford Healthcare, Novartis, Mercedes-Benz, VTech, Naturalizer, Johnston & Murphy, Fisher Price and Calvin Klein.

 

She's thrilled to rejoin DiMassimo Goldstein as Managing Director at Propolis, where she can avoid the big agency politics and work directly within incredibly talented, highly engaged teams to help growth clients succeed.

Graduating with a degree in Marketing from the University of Georgia and spending a semester studying in the South of France where she interned at the Cannes Film Festival, Alex, a native of Texas, moved to New York and joined DiMassimo Goldstein. Initially an intern, she was literally thrown right into the fire when the agency was almost immediately involved in filming an episode of The Pitch. She worked closely with each department to produce a staggering full presentation to C. Wonder in a mere two weeks.

 

After winning the pitch and undergoing her crash course in agency roles, her work with the Chief Strategy Officer helped her decide strategy was her true calling after a brief stint working in New Business. Since starting at DiGo, Alex has worked with EverBank, Bluefly, Belle & Clive, National Jewish Health and L’Auberge.
